Preparing for my return to Chile

I haven’t posted much in the month of January as I’ve been so busy meeting with my dissertation committee, visiting family, catching up with friends and completing a manuscript which is long overdue.  Nevertheless, I didn’t want to have a missing month (January) on my blog page and since this is the last day of this month, I rushed here to make a post before midnight.  I’ve had a wonderful time touching base with my peeps here in the United States.  However, I am ready to get back to my doctoral research in Chile and the subsequent writing of my dissertation so that I can be done in 2015.  🙂

I also greatly miss my new friends and extended family in Chile and am so happy to be returning in March with plans to stay through December.  So, I hope you all who have followed my blog last year will continue to do so in 2014 and to any new followers, I extend a hearty welcome and thank you for visiting my blog THE CHILEAN CHRONICLES (continued). 🙂
